‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ Has A New Trailer And There Are Some New Characters We Have To Talk About

Christian Balis Gore The Lord’s Butcher looks terrifying, I can’t wait to see more!

Thor: Love and Thunder I recently dropped their full trailer which gave us our first look at some new characters we might not be familiar with unless you’re up to date with the latest comics. I thought there was no better time to properly introduce you to some of these key characters than in the trailer, as we’ll get our first introduction in this latest installment. ox Movie.

Jane Fosters Mighty Thor

It was no secret that we’d be seeing Mighty Thor in the MCU, as director Taika Watiti announced Natalie Portman’s return to… ox The franchise is at Comic-Con in San Diego in 2019. We got an excellent glimpse of it in the original teaser that was released a month ago. However, this latest trailer gave us a little bit of insight into how her relationship with Thor went throughout this movie. In the comics, Jane bestows her powers after Thor is deemed unworthy of raising Mjolnir, and Jane is somehow able to reach the moon where she resides and become the new protector of Earth. Jin and Thor team up with their new power to drop Malekith, who you may remember from Thor: The Dark World.

Although Jane’s story becomes a bit tragic when it is discovered that Jane has been battling breast cancer, and every time she turns into a Mighty Thor, the effects of her cancer treatment are reversed. This might be a scheme they pursue in the movie as it’s been 8 years, 7 months and 6 days since Thor and Jane saw each other. It would make sense why Taika is so keen to bring Jin back into the franchise because this story will not only give a tragic twist to Jin’s return but also show her heroism as she is willing to save others at the cost of her health. I can’t wait to see how it all goes.

Gore butcher of God

Taika Waititi was recently quoted as saying “…in my humble opinion, we probably have the best Marvel villain ever in Christian Bale.” That’s not a shocking thing for a director to say about his movie villain, but given that we know how amazing Christian Bale is as an actor, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Bale give such an exceptional performance. It would be interesting to see the backstory of his character Shakespeare on screen as he made his first comic book appearance of 2012 Thor: God of Thunder Make it a fan favorite.

Gore’s tragic history destroys his belief in the gods and sets him on a path of war for revenge. Banished from his tribe for speaking blasphemy against the gods, Gore encounters a battle between what he believes are two gods and receives the equivalent sword All Black after his former player Knull becomes incapacitated. This newly discovered power gave Gorr the strength he needed to face the gods and he did so in a brutal manner. Considering we found a piece of symbiote left in the back Spider Man: No going back home Post-credits sceneAnd the I’m curious if the movie would give the sword the same parity date found in the comics, which would tie Venom to the MCU.

Zeus

Disney/Marvel Studios

Its origin is quite similar to the Greek myths from which its character is derived; In the comics, the Olympians formed alliances not only with the Asgardians but with the Eternals as well. I can imagine that there will be an all-encompassing encounter of gods across all gods and dimensions as Gore was not biased in his quest for revenge. It seems Russell Crowe is fully committed to playing this version of Zeus with his tone and glamor; I am all for her.

Dental washer and grinder

Disney/Marvel Studios

These two fierce mystical goats are based on the goats of Norse mythology, Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjóstr. In the comics, they help Thor by not only flying his chariot around the different worlds, but Thor tasked Toothgnasher to guard Mjolnir in another dimension at one point. They have already appeared for the first time in the animated series Avengers: Earth’s Greatest Heroes, But it would be nice to see them now on the big screen, hitting what it looks like to be Olympus in the trailers.

Uatu Observer

Disney/Marvel Studios

Granted now, it’s not new to the MCU, but to this franchise, it will be. In this room as Jane Foster’s Thor lifts Mjolnir into the sky for a stunning lightning strike, we see a few of the cosmic entities that have made a huge impact in the Marvel comics. And in particular, we see The Watcher, Uatu, which we have come to What if …? Shown here, which can portend a veil of it. However, it would be crazy in what context it would be in the movie, but if any of those were to play into the story, this could be huge. For me, this is a stretch. However, considering that we’ve already been introduced to Uatu and things have been undone Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness, It’s not out of the question to hear Jeffrey Wright come to the post-credit scene explaining to Thor the danger of incursion.
