The SummerSlam fallout episode of SmackDown takes place tonight from Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina.
Roman Reigns remains the undisputed WWE Universal Champion after holding out against Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing match in the main event at SummerSlam. Tonight, Reigns will address Drew McIntyre. The two are set to meet for the undisputed title at Clash at the Castle next month.
Liv Morgan also remains the SmackDown Women’s Champion after holding out against Ronda Rousey at SummerSlam. Raquel Rodriguez, Alia, Schutzi, Chia Lee, Shayna Baszler, Natalia, and Sonya Deville will participate in a deadly match tonight to determine Morgan’s Clash at the Castle Challenger.
Rossi will not be a participant in the gauntlet match. She is currently suspended in the story after attacking the referee after her match against Morgan. The referee missed that Morgan had tapped into a Russian tape.
Additionally, Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Ludwig Kaiser is ready tonight. If Nakamura wins, he will become the number one contender for the Intercontinental Gunther title.

Outside the plaza, Roman Reigns and Usos arrived at the building.
Pat McAfee and Michael Cole discuss McAfee’s victory over Happy Corbin at SummerSlam. McAfee was recounting hilarious clips from his match with Corbin.
McAfee notes that he’s kicked balls all his life. Then he showed footage from SummerSlam of McAfee kicking Corbin into the balls. McAfee showed the footage over and over again. Fans broke into the hymn “McAfee”.
In the back, Happy Corbin saw the shots on screen. A group of Corbin roster members laughed. He was angry, but Ricochet stood up to him. He mocked Corbyn and challenged him to a match now.
Ricochet defeats Happy Corbin (11:48)
Ricochet and Corbin had a really good match. Ricochet looked strong, and this was probably one of Corbin’s best matches. Fans loved it and it featured heavily in Ricochet’s win.
Fans love McAfee, who was great at commenting. It’s also the second week in a row without opening a long talk segment.
Ricochet had an early advantage when he sent Corbyn to Earth. This was followed by a plunge that eliminated Corbin. Corbin dodges the loosening clothesline and hits the clothesline around the loop to take over.
Corbyn kept looking at McAfee. Fans sang a loud “McAfee” chant. Ricochet resisted and shook Corbin with a kick in the face. Corbin avoided a moon jump away from the apron. Then he threw Pricochet into the center of the ring.
After returning from the break, Corbin was tightly controlling the chin lock. Ricochet freed, but Corbin gave him a huge landing in the back. Fans broke into a loud hymn “You’re disgusting.”
Ricochet shot and hit a hand elbow and a flying clothesline. This was followed by the click of a standing meteor star for a close fall. Fans broke into the hymn “Ricochet”.
Ricochet went to the manual spring elbow again but Corbin grabbed it and hit the spinning neck cutters. Briefly resist the recoil. Corbin recovered and hit the Depth Six to come close to falling.
They fought on the top rope. Ricochet tried to slip, but Corbin put him back. Corbin then threw the ricochet on the apron. Corbin looked at McAfee again.
Ricochet took advantage of that and installed Corbin on the top rope. Then Ricochet hit the recoil and tap the shooting star to win. The crowds really popped up at the end. When Ricochet climbed onto the shooting star press, McAfee indicated that Ricochet would do something he didn’t do at SummerSlam: make the move smoothly.
After the match, McAfee and Ricochet threw a soccer ball. McAfee signed the ball and kicked it to the audience.
They summed up Liv Morgan defeating Ronda Rousey at SummerSlam. Cole mentioned a Russian comment.
In the back, Sami Zayn knocks on The Bloodline’s locker room door.
They showed the highlights of SummerSlam.
After the break, Zayn was still knocking on the door. The Usos finally came out but they wouldn’t let him speak to Reigns. They have revealed that Paul Heyman is not on the show tonight and is recovering at home. Usos promised Zayn that he could talk to Reigns later.
Shinsuke Nakamura entered.
The SmackDown flashback film featured Steve Austin’s Cold Stone destroying the McMahon-Helmsley faction bus.
Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Ludwig Kaiser (with Gunther) (8:44)
Nakamura and Caesar played another good match.
The condition was that if Nakamura won, he would take the Intercontinental title against Gunter next week.
Kaiser supported Nakamura in the corner with kicks. Fans broke into a short hymn “American”. not spread. Nakamura recovered and shook Caesar with a running knee. Tsar caught Nakamura in the fractured position but dropped him on the face.
Returning from the break, Nakamura was in strong control with a German suplex sliding into the ropes. Gunther distracted Nakamura, allowing Kaiser to take charge for a second. Nakamura regained control and went to Kinshasa. Tsar Nakamura shook with a capital letter for a close fall instead.
The Kaiser was completely in control, but Nakamura grabbed him by the arm. Caesar broke, but Nakamura hit Kinshasa for the win.
Nakamura faces Intercontinental Champion Gunter next week. After the match, Gunther and Nakamura faced each other.
They summed up The Viking Raiders’ win by hitting The New Day last week and injuring Xavier Woods.
In the back, Megan Morant gives an interview to Kofi Kingston. He noted that Woods is well because he is recovering at home. He promised revenge on Woods.
After the break, Cole and McAfee talked about all the news coverage of SummerSlam.
In the back, Sami Zayn knocked on The Bloodline’s door again. He indicated that he did not receive a text message from them. Zayn tried to talk to Roman Reigns again.
The Usos have asked Zayn to take on Paul Heyman duties tonight, including taking care of the Regins’ entry. Zane was hesitant, but eventually agreed. The Usos stared at Zayn as he left.
SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan
Kayla Braxton interviewed SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan. Braxton summed up the controversial ending and Ronda Rousey’s commentary. Morgan had her arm in a sling due to a Russian attack in the match.
Fans booed Morgan and chanted “You bugged me.” She claimed she only clicked when she thought the referee counted three. Fans booed Morgan loudly again.
Sonya Deville interrupted him and said that Morgan shouldn’t be the hero. Some fans cheered. Deville mocked Adam Pearce and promised to win the Challenge Match.
Gauntlet Match: defeats Sonya Deville Alia (2:20)
This was a typical glove match in WWE. They had a bunch of short matches, with Rodriguez staying put until they lost in the last game. The glove took about 30 minutes with several commercial breaks.
Maughan sat by the ring to watch the match. Fans broke into the hymn “Ronda Rousey”.
Deville took the lead and slowed down with a chin lock. High broke free and hit her cross body from the second rope for her close fall. Deville recovered and pinned Alia to take the win.
Gauntlet Match: Raquel Rodriguez beat Sonya Deville (2:04)
Deville gave Rodriguez a chop block for the early advantage. Rodriguez recovered and hit Vader’s bomb in the elbow drop. I followed up with a powerbomb to win.
Gauntlet Match: Raquel Rodriguez defeats Schutze (1:21)
This match started during the commercial hiatus. Schutze was in control hard, but Rodriguez came back to a knockout. She followed that up with a Vader Bomb and powerbomb elbow to take the win.
Gauntlet Match: Raquel Rodriguez defeated Xia Li (2:27)
Lee aimed Rodriguez’s knee with half a lobster. Rodriguez caught me in the air and hit the slam. She followed that up with a Vader Bomb elbow and hit the powerbomb for the win.
Gauntlet Match: Raquel Rodriguez defeated Natalya (2:22)
Natalia attacked Rodriguez’s knee and closed in surrender. Rodriguez escaped and reversed to suplex for a close fall. Natalia recovered and locked up on the sniper. Rodriguez responded with a fight and reached the ropes. Rodriguez recovered and hit the strength to take the win.
Gauntlet Match: Shayna Baszler defeated Raquel Rodriguez (3:04)
The match started during the commercial break. Baszler was firmly in control and continued to attack the injured leg. Pazler punched Rodriguez’s arm and looked at Morgan.
Baszler got tired of going for the kirifuda clutch but Rodriguez avoided it. Rodriguez recovered and went to Vader Bomb’s elbow again but Baszler locked the kirifuda clutch. Rodriguez liberated. Pazler took advantage of the opportunity and got the weak Rodriguez to win.
Baszler faces SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan at Clash as the Castle. After the match, Basler and Morgan had a stare.
In the back, Sami Zayn knocked on the door of the bloodline again. He did whatever the Usos asked, but they still wouldn’t let him talk to Reigns. Zane was frustrated, but the Aso shouted at him. They told him he should start lifting his weight or take off the Bloodline shirt.
Defeated Viking Raiders Tommy Gibson and Jim Mulkey (1:31)
This was a complete squash as the Viking Raiders destroyed their opponents. The end came when Ivar hit Gibson with the second rope. Then they gave Mulkey a double power over Gibson for the win.
After the match, Kofi Kingston ran out and attacked the raiders with a kendo stick. He cleaned the ring, and the crowd erupted with a loud “Coffee” sound.
Kofi Kingston defeated Eric (w/Ivar) (3:45)
Kingston and Eric had a good short match.
Pierce presented the match during the break. After the break, Eric Kingston shook with a kick in the face. Slow down the chin lock. Kingston resisted and physically hit a birdie for two counts.
Kingston went to SOS, but Eric criticized him for a close fall. He followed that up with a full knee Nelson. Kingston recovered and sent Eric to ringside. He continued with the fall of diving confidence.
Ivar tried to hit Kingston with a kendo stick, but he missed. Back in the ring, Kingston folded Eric for the surprise win.
Cole and McAfee announced that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship begins on Monday. The masses popped up for the ad.
WWE Undisputed World Champion Roman Reigns and the Undisputed Tag Team Champions, Usos made their way into the ring.
After returning from the break, they showed the Gunther vs. Nakamura.
Roman Reigns addresses Drew McIntyre
The big news is that Carrison Cross and Scarlett are back. At first, fans looked confused, but in the end, Kroos and Scarlett got a good reaction. This was a good concluding clip for a good SmackDown. Fans were finally buzzing. The Triple H era continues.
Reigns and The Usos got a good reaction. Reigns demanded South Carolina recognition, and fans popped up. Reigns noted that they are on SmackDown to brag about winning at SummerSlam. The crowd popped up again and cheered.
Reigns mentioned Brock Lesnar, and fans booed. Reigns added that he hated Lesnar because he tried to kill Paul Heyman. Reigns sent prayers for Heyman when Drew McIntyre’s music stopped.
MacIntyre indicated that he could not wait for Castle Clash. He was about to jump in the ring.
Suddenly, Carrion Cross’ music hit. Kroos came back and attacked McIntyre in ringside. Scarlett is also back and putting the hourglass into the ring. Watch Reigns and The Usos. Kroos and Scarlett put the end to a good slam dunk.
