Nove Mesto XC 2022 World Cup Final Results – Pinkbike

The third XC World Cup 2022 for Merchandise delivered some amazing moments and massive victories. The Elite Women’s race saw another dominant performance from Rebecca McConnell who once again proved unstoppable this season. A Nove Mesto win won’t be easy with Loana Lecomte and Jenny Rissveds still in sight for most of the race. The final two laps will throw both chasing riders out of contention with Loana Lecomte, the only rider to come within a minute of the mighty Australian.

In the men’s elite race, it was an incredibly close race with no rider launching an attack until the last lap of the race. In the end there was a sprint between Vlad Daskalo and Thomas Pidcock, but it was the Olympic champion who hit the streak faster and won the World Cup again in 2022. Today’s performance goes to Nino Schurter who did the impossible and fought back a minute of time after a hole in the rear frame. Despite massive hurdles, Nino Schurter got back to the front of the race and crossed the line in third.
