George Miller Three thousand years of longing It premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, and the audience was overwhelmed with excitement about the film. The film, and by extension, George Miller, received a standing ovation for six minutes at the film’s conclusion. Miller was then given a microphone to address the crowd. After saying it was the first time anyone had seen the movie, he added, “It’s very touching,” to see the movie get such a positive reaction.
The standing ovation wasn’t the only excitement surrounding the premiere. Earlier, during the red carpet leading up to the show, security stopped a screaming woman wearing body paint in the colors of the Ukrainian flag along with the words “Stop raping us” written on her stomach, after she appeared to have picked her up by her clothes. Some witnesses say she also had blood red paint on her lower back and legs, and the words “scum” written on her lower back. The security men soon wrapped a jacket over the woman and escorted her off the ground.
In addition, reactions to the examination began to appear on social media:
Three Thousand Years of Longing for George Miller is unlike anything you have tried before. It is a wonderful epic fairy tale between a genie (Idris Elba) and an academic (Tilda Swinton) who teaches storytelling. He tells her a stir in an anecdote. She makes wishes.

This week we mocked a little bit about the trailer for the upcoming George Miller movie, Three thousand years of longingWhich only made his fans thirsty for more. Yesterday, the movie’s official base art was released with a promise to release the full trailer today, and that promise has been kept! The trailer has arrived, and it feels like one trip through this alluring fantasy drama.
In the official synopsis of the movie, “Dr. Alethia Penny (Tilda Swinton) is an academic – content with life and a creature of mind. While attending a conference in Istanbul, she happens to meet a jinn (Idris Elba) who offers her three wishes in exchange for his freedom. This presents two problems. First, she doubts that it is real. And secondly, because she is a scholar of story and myth, she knows all the cautionary tales about desires. The jinn defend their cause by telling their fairy tales of his past. In the end, she feels deceived and makes a wish that will surprise them.” The film stars Kahn Goldor, Ella Brown, and Angie Tricker.
The trailer makes this seem like a mix of fantasy, with some really weird visuals, legends, and everything in between. The film is an adaptation of the short story “The Djinn in the Nightingale’s Eye” by A.S. Byatt, and will be shown at the Cannes Film Festival. Also, since it was acquired by MGM, this will be her first film to debut at the festival after her merger with Amazon closed in March.
