Xiaomi 11T Pro Updates: Xiaomi launched the 11T Pro on January 20, 2022 in India. This device is the successor to the Xiaomi 10T Pro. This device has many features that were not even available in some flagship devices. Xiaomi is known to be very smart in providing premium bits and features to the device.
About the device:
Box Content: In the same phone box. Clear silicone case, with 120W charger, USB-A to USB-C charging cable, and some paperwork. The silicone case has an excellent finish and precisely fits the device. The charging brick is heavy because it is a 120W fast charge. There are no earphones but the box does contain a dongle with USB-C for headphone jack.
Design and first impression: Xiaomi 11T pro has a matte glass back on the back along with a triple camera setup. The camera module is slightly raised at the bottom left of the device bearing the company’s branding. The sides of the device are metal. The right side of the device has a lock/unlock button which has a built-in fingerprint reader. Above it, the device has a volume control. At the flagship level, the company should have introduced an in-display fingerprint reader. The bottom and top of the machine are flat. The bottom of the device houses the SIM tray, along with a USB-C port and a speaker grill. The top of the device also houses the Harmon/Kardon branding speaker grille. The device is spacious at hand.
Presentation and multimedia: The 11T Pro is built with a 6.67 FHD+ display, 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling, and is an AMOLED panel. The display supports Dolby Vision and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. There is a 16-megapixel camera with a hole punch in the screen. The bezels on the screen are very thin. The device has a resolution enhancement option with which the device can enhance the resolution of 480p to 1080p. The multimedia experience on this device will be great, thanks to the Harmon/Kardon stereo speaker setup. Colors on the screen are vibrant and viewing angles shouldn’t be a problem.
Software and performance: The 11T is equipped with a Snapdragon 888 processor, tuned with three specifications. 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM, 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM, 12GB ROM + 256GB ROM. Out of the box, the device is installed with MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11. The 888 processor is an old one but it works very well. But the company must have offered MIUI 13 running Android 12. Xiaomi claims to offer 3 years of Android update and 4 years of Android Security Patch updates. The performance of the device is excellent for everyday use. Even the gaming performance on this device is very good.
camera: The back of the 11T Pro has a triple-camera setup. The primary camera has a 108-megapixel camera with an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera with a 120-degree field of view and a 5-megapixel macro lens. The front of the device has a single 16-megapixel camera. The rear cameras work very well on this device. Images from the primary cameras are very saturated and vibrant. The Ultra Wide Camera takes smooth but good quality photos. Surprisingly, the telephoto lens is excellent and captures every detail.
battery: Xiaomi 11T Pro is built with two 2500mAh batteries, they combine 5000mAh battery capacity. The battery was split in two due to the 120W charging. So the current is divided in half evenly to each of the batteries and they are charged individually faster. The company claims 0-100% battery in 17 minutes.
Delivery: 11T pro has 5G support with 13 bands. It also has Dual 4G VoLTE support. The device has dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. It has NFC technology as well.
Could this be a great deal?
The device starts at £39,999. There are many devices in this price range like Samsung Galaxy S20FE and OnePlus 9RT which might be better than this device. But this device has some impeccable features like the sound tuned by Harmon/Kardon and Dolby Vision which makes this device stand out.
