A few days after it was discontinued, the last iPod, the seventh generation iPod touch, was officially sold out at the Apple Online Store in the United States.

Yesterday, we reported that some iPod touch configurations were flagged as “sold out” at the Apple Store in the US. Now, all iPod touch models in all configurations are completely sold out.

Apple marked the end of an era this week when it announced that it would be ending the popular iPod brand and family of products. The iPod was Apple’s foundation and made it a household name years before the iPhone.

“We’ve integrated an amazing music experience into all of our products, from ‌iPhone‌ to Apple Watch to HomePod mini and across Mac, iPad and Apple TV,” Apple’s Greg Joswiak said Tuesday, announcing the iPod’s discontinuation.

Replacing the iPod, Apple says the iPhone 13 Pro Max and the latest iPhone SE, paired with the second-generation AirPods or $550 AirPods Max, provide the best music and audio experience from Apple.
