The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 movie
If The Lincoln Lawyer returns, Manuel Garcia Rulfo will almost certainly reprise his role as Mickey Haller, the title attorney.
He will be accompanied by Jazz Raecul, his assistant/ Lincoln chauffeur, and Eazy Letts, his fellow recovering addict.
The two other significant women in his life are his first wife Maggie MacPherson (portrayed by Neve Campbell) and his second wife-turned-Assistant Detective Lorna (Becky Newton).
As for the rest of the cast, few never made it to the end of season one, whether they were arrested or their lives shortened by outside forces.
So, there is plenty of room for new members to join the group. Specifically, whatever the main issue in season two.
What might happen in the second season of The Lincoln Lawyer?
Again, this will depend on what situation the series will focus on and which of the Lincoln Lawyer novels the authors will choose. The first season focuses primarily on the second novel in Michael Connelly’s collection, The Brass Verdict, versus the first; Thus, it is not clear if the second season will focus on the third book or something else.
However, Mickey and his crew will undoubtedly face some tough situations.
The Lincoln Lawyer plot for season two and the end of season one:
Before discussing the potential lines of Season 2 of The Lincoln Lawyer, let’s review the Season 1 finale. She concluded a number of lines and introduced new ones including Mickey, Maggie, Lorna, and Cisco.
Trevor Elliott, a wealthy video game developer, accused of killing his wife and her yoga instructor lover, Jan. He was acquitted, but it turns out that he committed the crime and deceived Mickey and the jury.
Mickey survives an attack by Glenn McSweeney, who is installed as juror number 7 in the Trevor Elliott case, in the series finale. After a disagreement with Trevor, he denied his involvement in the injury. However, Trevor was shot and killed by Carol Dubois, Jean’s cousin.
In the other important case, Mickey is able to secure the release of his former client, Jesus Menendez, who was wrongly convicted of murder. He is able to prove that Detective Lankford prevented an important witness from testifying.
Furthermore, he collects Mickey from killing his friend Jerry Vincent, who gifted him the practice. Turns out to be the owner of the judge! Jerry discovered she was running a side business for jury rigging. Mickey caught her.
Maggie’s case against human trafficker Angelo Soto explodes as a newly crippled officer exposes Lankford’s evidence. Kardon removes it from the workplace completely. But she bypasses him and turns the case over to federal agents.
Cisco approaches the leader of the Road Saints motorcycle group, Teddy, to insist he pay his obligations rather than let Mickey settle them. Teddy offered him a deal involving illegal activity.
Once the Elliott and Menendez experiments are resolved, season 2 will likely introduce new agents to be represented by Mickey. The main issue may arise from Haller’s third novel by Connelly, The Reflection. It shows a convicted kidnapper and murderer on trial based on new DNA evidence. Next, Connelly has an abundance of Haller stories to choose from.
